Things to know before booking Tokyo Disneyland tickets
Before planning your visit, it’s important to understand how access works at Tokyo Disneyland. Entry to Tokyo Disneyland requires a dedicated dated park ticket, which grants admission to the park and access to attractions through the standard standby queues.
If you also want to experience both parks at Tokyo Disney Resort, you can upgrade to tickets that include access to Tokyo DisneySea as well. These options allow visitors to explore the wider resort beyond Tokyo Disneyland during their trip.
Once inside the park, some high-demand attractions may offer Disney Premier Access, a paid in-app option that allows guests to select a timed entry window and reduce wait times for certain rides. Availability is limited and typically sold on the day of your visit through the official Tokyo Disney Resort app.
Keep in mind that Premier Access does not replace park admission—you must first hold a valid Tokyo Disneyland ticket to enter the park before purchasing any additional ride access options.
Tokyo Disneyland generally follows the operating hours of Tokyo Disney Resort, although individual attractions may temporarily close for maintenance or safety checks during the day. Guests should check the official park app for real-time updates on attraction availability and wait times before planning their ride schedule.
For the smoothest experience, most visitors purchase their tickets online in advance and keep their mobile ticket ready for scanning at the park entrance gates when arriving.
