Great to reserve seats for each segment of travel The only down side was we could only book tickets 6 times with the machine then had to go to the ticket counter. Had to stand in line for over an hour one time. The machines should allow at least bookings before having to go to the counter
Site easy to understand mainly what is included or not in the pass. also the purchacing experience was very easy and intuitive
ONLY WHEN I REACHED OSAKA AIRPORT JR OFFICE, then realised could not buy JR pass over the counter. paid cash for SHINKANSEN ride to SHIN-OKAYAMA. settled down at hotel, about 10pm, start searching for platform that could issue me JR vouchers the next morning. HEADOUOT is the only platform that could issue me the immediate JR pass voucher for exchange the next morning, at very good price, and that was 11.03pm that I received their whatsapp PDF. REALLY AWESOM SUPER SERVICE. TRULY GLAD that I found HEADOUT.

At most ticket machines my pass doesn't work. I must go to service window Not smooth like I was promised
We are currently in Japan and the only issue we had was receiving our passes before we departed. It seems that the service was having issues with communicating back to us. But we did finally receive them before the trip.
Traveling by train and using the Raylwayd Pass is always a pleasure. The punctuality, reliability and friendly staff make rail travel in Japan an exceptional experience. The ability to move around the inner terminals at any time opens up access to the stores and restaurants located there. That's great.
Amazing way to see Japan. Traveling by Shinkansen was an experience in itself. Highly recommend getting the Green Car if you want extra comfort.
I spent too much time traveling to JR stations I steward of enjoying my trip and there is none to help international traveler's the few people that were there barely made any effort to help., or or they were so busy they offered quick complicated answers, which in the end cost us a lot of additional money and time Never doing JR againP
Activation at Narita Airport was quick. Staff spoke enough English to help us easily. Only suggestion: better signage at some stations.
Perfect for first-timers in Japan! The JR staff helped us understand the system really well. Trains were spotless and comfortable.
Trains were great but wish it was easier to reserve seats online. Sometimes had to wait at the counter. Otherwise, an excellent service.
The JR Pass made our trip stress-free. We reserved seats a few times, but even without, we always found spots. Great experience overall!
We traveled Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Osaka with ease. The pass saved us so much time and money.
Great pass for exploring Japan. Trains are punctual to the minute, and the JR staff were always helpful.

So far so good but there was a little hassle in the beginning when I went to the JR station to exchange the email receipt with the Hokkaido rail pass. The staff found that the same name was printed for all 3 tickets even though I have emailed the names of all 3 passengers so she had to call the JR main office to confirm before printing it out which took quite some time and caused a delay in our itinerary.
