What’s not allowed

Printed QR codes or screenshots cannot be used to pass through ticket gates.
The ticket cannot be used on lines other than Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway lines.

If a ticket gate does not support QR scanning, contact station staff or use the intercom at the gate for assistance.

Additional information

Press the “Start Use” button before scanning the QR code at the ticket gate.
The ticket becomes valid from the first gate entry and is valid for 24, 48, or 72 hours depending on the option selected.
Tickets must be used on the smartphone device where the QR code is stored. If the device cannot display the ticket (for example due to battery depletion), regular fare will be required.
Multiple tickets purchased in one transaction can be distributed to other smartphone devices before first use so passengers can travel separately.
Refunds are available only before starting use and within the validity period, with a ¥220 handling fee per transaction.

After booking, access your Tokyo Subway QR Ticket on your smartphone. This digital ticket allows you to pass through supported automatic ticket gates by scanning the QR code.
Before using the ticket, press the “Start Use” button on your ticket screen. The ticket becomes valid when you first enter a supported ticket gate.
Scan the QR code at a compatible ticket gate to enter and exit the subway system. If the gate does not support QR codes, contact station staff or use the intercom at the gate for assistance.
Your ticket allows unlimited rides on all Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway lines for the selected duration (24, 48, or 72 hours) from the time of first gate entry.
If multiple tickets are purchased, they can be distributed to other smartphone devices before starting use, allowing each passenger to travel independently.
Printed QR codes or screenshots cannot be used. The QR ticket must be displayed on the smartphone device where it is stored.

This pass is available for only non-Japanese passport holders.
On presenting the ticket once, the maximum number of people allowed to ride simultaneously is eight.
The validity period is five consecutive days from the date of first use. Each day is considered from 3am to 2:59am the following day. If usage starts between 12am and 2:59am, it is considered as one day. Therefore, from 3am, there are four days remaining.
The voucher is valid for three months from the issue date.
A rail pass will not be reissued even if lost or stolen.
Transportation services may be canceled in case of bad weather and will not result in refunding the fares.
Alternative transportation may be used in case of a disruption in a boardable section.
Tickets can only be used from Aug 1 onwards.

You can use the pass for 5 days.
Note that the Greater Tokyo Pass is valid for five consecutive days from the date of first use.

The voucher is valid for three months from the issue date.
A rail pass will not be reissued even if lost or stolen.
